Senior Group Accounting Consultant

Are you an experienced group accounting expert? Do you enjoy the challenges of staying informed on the latest group accounting standards and helping customers adhere to these by leveraging group consolidation systems such as AARO, HFM, Ocra, Cognos or SAP? Then we have a steady stream of exciting new projects waiting for your expertise.

Main responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-studies and help customers evaluate how systems can help streamline their processes, increase transparency and improve capabilities for analysis

  • Participate in new implementations of AARO and further develop existing AARO solutions

  • Assist customers in adapting to changes in accounting standards (incl. system support)

  • Continuous development and refinement of Otisco’s knowledge base and methodologies

  • Active participation in knowledge sharing with colleagues and other forms of further education

  • Assume responsibility as lead subject matter expert for Otisco in one or multiple knowledge areas (e.g. statutory reporting, IFRS 16, business controller analysis)

  • Identify potential new customers that could benefit from AARO and assist in pre-sales demonstrations of AARO, including AARO add-on modules

  • At least 7+ years of experience of group accounting

  • Group consolidation system experience (AARO, HFM, Ocra, SAP BPC, Cognos)

  • High level proficiency in IFRS and K3 reporting standards

  • Project experience in implementing business systems

  • Fluency in Swedish & English

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

In addition to the qualifications listed above, we also hope that you share our genuine passion for AARO as the preferred group consolidation system available today and that you’ll help us as ambassadors of AARO. Further, we hope that you’ll be proud to join Otisco at a relatively early stage and play an integral role in the evolution of the company into a globally-recognised consulting firm. With your help, Otisco will dominate in its areas of specialisation and provide an ever-clearer value proposition to customers.

The role is based in Stockholm. Some travel may be required periodically, but the extent of travel is negotiable.

About the company:

Founded in 2008, Otisco aims to be the leading consulting firm specialising in AARO. Otisco strives to attract the top professionals in the field who are passionate about helping customers achieve excellence in group reporting and analysis.

Otisco’s reputation for the successful implementation of several group reporting solutions over the years has enabled the company to be strategic in acquiring new consulting clients.
